Aren't we lucky to have the UN looking out for our best interests?
Oh, nevermind that North Korea thing and all of the other atrocities happening globally.
I am just so relieved that they are finally paying attention to the plastic bag issue.
Sarcasm aside, I can't believe anyone would depend on the UN to accomplish anything important. They want a global ban on plastic bags because of the toxins they put in the environment, but what are they prepared to do about NK and their nuclear developements?

I wonder if the UN has gotten the memo that nuclear weapons are toxic? I bet they would have something to say about it if NK stuffed their missiles with plastic bags. :oP

Okay, I am going to expose the treehugger in me and admit that I really like my reusable bags. They have sturdy handles and just fit more groceries in them.
Oh, has anyone see The Goode Family on ABC? It's hilarious.
