  • It becomes obvious after about a month. Pregnancy lasts anywhere from 6-8 weeks. The Vulva will become more pronounced, the nipples will appear larger and your cat will be sleeping more often. It really is amazing to watch because if you are close enough you can start to see the kittens move around in her belly one to two weeks before labor.
If your cat is pregnant set up a boxed and enclosed area where she will feel safe delivering.
The day of her labor she will have a higer temp than usual and will most likely begin to nest.
    Good luck~

  • I notice their little boobies start showing and their tummies look kinda bald. They also like to go hide more often also. I think they take about 60 days, but it's been awhile since I've had little kitties around. You can palpate her too, feel her in her lower belly for lumps about the size of a small computer mouse.

  • 2.5 months is normal gestation on a cat. her nipples will drop a bit, and soon after her belly will plump out to the sides.

  • If your cat isn't spayed and you let her outside, she's probably pregnant. That's one big way of knowing without even looking at her.
