What do you think about the name Avery for a boy?

Im 36 weeks and we arent sure of what to name our little man yet but we both like Avery so that might be it. But we picked a few diff. middle names last name is MacDonald

Avery Kaleb
Avery Nicholos
Avery Jake
Avery Dakota

Any other suggestions or which do you like best?

  • Sounds REALLY girly, and if you chose dakota.. it would sound like a complete girls name. i wouldnt do it. think about when the teacher is taking role call and the kids expect a girl to raise her hand up when their name is called when really.. its your son... poor kid.

  • I like it. Reminds me of a comedy show back in the 80's where the lady work for a news channel and had a painter for her house always working and she named her son after her mother who passed. I can't think of the show name or actress.

  • Avery is a unisex name just like Bailey or Taylor. I had a guy friend in HS named Avery. I think his middle name was Alexander.
