Sitiches after birth

okay i posted a questions the other day and didnt get much help. well my baby is almost 4 weeks old. well me and hubby had sex when he was 3 weeks old. well i have been seeing a lil string in my vaginal area is this my stitiches? it dont hurt.. i didnt notice it till after we had sex.. what could this be? did i bust my sitiches open? i have no clue.. the sting is attched.. i cant move it.. im not hurtn or bleeding. i just need some advice. i done informed the nurse at my local health dep and they didnt ask me too come in ... my 6 weeks check up is the 29th but im a lil worried. i want too have sex again but a lil scared too. the string hanging.. looks like a white thread. i though these things are suppose too dissolve!

  • They are supposed to dissolve but you did have sex 3 weeks before the recommended time so I don't know what it is. I would just call your OB and ask. Don't be afraid or embarrassed to do so.

  • I have done told my doc i have been having sex and everything .. they only told me it could be where the doc didnt cut the sting short enough.. they didnt act too concern. i guess because im not hurting nor am i bleeding.. or having any funky dischrage so... i dont know.. but im still worried.. i keep looking and wondering and trying too see if i see anything wrng.,.

  • I would wait and have sex after your appt. I didnt have sex until after my 6 week visit because I was still in pain, we did oral though. Why dont you just do oral until atfer your appt. At least youre getting something!
