  • Most likely, nothing. Very few babies (especially first babies) are actually born on their due dates. Calm down, plan your day as usual. I would assume you have talked to your doctor or midwife about what to do if labor starts? If you do start to feel contractions, start timing them & call your dr/midwife. Also, if you are very tense or "freaked out" baby will not make an appearance. Our bodies are equipped with an old survival instinct that tells mothers not to go into labor when it isn't "safe." So if you are very stressed, your body will interpret that as danger & not allow the baby to come. Go get a pedicure to help you relax. Congrats on the baby & good luck!

  • Hang in there mama! It probably won't be tomorrow, but it WILL be soon! Try to occupy your time, and take lots of naps. You won't get a chance to sleep for a while!

  • first poster hit the nail on the head, do ANYTHING to relax, get your hair cut, nails done a massage but dont sit at home and bite your nails and have lots of sex and come on cafemom and ask how to put yourself in labor, that is a form of stress, try to be outside in the fresh air, walking pampering yourself!
chances are slim to none that baby will come on your due date, however thats not to say it wont!
be ready have your bags in the trunk of your car and make sure you just RELAX!!!
