i just bought a flat of fresh strawberries, can i make any kind of babyfood with it??

  • You can... but a lot of babies are sensitive to strawberries, and it is generally recommended to keep them out of their diet until after they're a year old. For families with a lot of allergies or sensitivities, it's a good idea not to introduce likely foods for 2 to 3 years.

    The longer you wait, the more mature her digestive system will be and the less likely she'll be allergic or sensitive to anything.

  • Strawberries are an allergy trigger food that should be be given to babies under the age of one. Additionally, conventionally grown strawberries are the most pesticide laden food and should not be given to a child under the age of 6.
