  • The latest was probably with my 1st pregnancy. The "official" one was at 16 wks... but I had an "impromptu" one in my NP's office ar abour 11 or 12 wks. That was when I was young & "po' folk" on medicaid.

With my last 3 pregnancies, I had ultrasounds at my very first visit to confirm the pregnancies... and then 4-6 more throughout. Always had one at about 20 wks -- that's just standard procedure.

  • I have never had an ultrasound before 20 weeks. I wish I could have an earlier one, I would like to know if there is something wrong before 20 weeks.

  • my first was 18 weeks, and I just had one at 29 weeks.
    how far along are you?
and SOME doctors dont do ultra sounds, ever providing your not high risk, talk to your OB about it because he may never get you one unless you ask.

  • I had one at 8 weeks to confirm (or rather move) my due date and then another at 22 weeks.

  • Medically, unless there's something wrong, you should only get one between 18 and 20 weeks.

  • My last pregnancy I was 29 weeks for mine. talking about going ultrasound free this time (23 weeks currently). I am entirely against abortion so having an ultrasound prior to 23 weeks isn't needed.

  • Unless there is something medically wrong there is no reason to have late ultrasounds at all.

  • My OB/GYN isn't scheduling mine until the 16th week (currently 6 weeks) .....
everyone is saying that i'm going to have twins because i'm already showing. Could be farther along than i really am though but not sure. Just want an early ultrasound to see if i'm carrying twins. my OB/GYN refuses. :(
