  • I started with the Gerber 1's and then 2's when his appetite got greater.

  • I started with rice cereal, then later added oatmeal.....then Gerber 1's....then, he refused anything but homemade baby food.

  • when i introduced actual baby food, after we mixed rice cereal in with formula for a bit, i actually mixed a bit of baby food, formula and the cereal. then just went straight to the babyfood. he is 10 months old now and for about 2 months has wanted nothing to do with babyfood. he wants home made babyfood or what we are eating. but i started with sweet potatoes first, then squash, then apples, then bananas, then green beans....
now when i make his I looked under what fruits and veggies they can have at what age. there's a sight, that gives some good ideas. also look under gerber and they give you what they can have at what age.

  • My son is five months and has been eating rice cereal for almost a month now. He has also eaten most of gerber 1 foods. You can start with anything stage 1. But remember to only do one new food every four days or so to make sure there not allergic. good luck and have your camera handy cause it gets messy!!!
