Payday loan addresses? Having trouble tracking them down.

Has anyone ever had a payday loan with 500 Fast Cash, MMG Marketing Group, Solomon Finance, CMG Group LLC, or Payment Direct? I keep having these people send me emails and calling me saying I owe them money when I have never even heard of them and just got out of a bankruptcy so I have no debt. They tell me if I mail them a letter then they will send me proof that they have documents showing I owe this debt, when I ask for their address, they then say that they don't do mail in payments and try to get me to give them my debit card number. So if anyone has ever dealt with these companies and has a mailing address for them or any info on them, that would be great.

  • This is what I found on CMG when I googled it. I am just going to send you the link because it contains a phone number and address. Hope it is the same one, there are many reports on google of them being a scam/fraud. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!!!

  • Yes. This is a scam. I was contacted by these same people because someone used me as a reference for their payday loan. They were trying to get me to pay them money or give info on the person that used me as a reference.

I called the FBI Finacial Division and they told me that this is a scam. Somehow Payday Loan database was hacked and the scam artists have all of your personal info from the database. You can google the 1-800 number they are calling you from and will find the same info. You need to contact one of the credit agencies and put an alert on your credit file.

The scam people I dealt with were working out of India using obvious fake "American" names. Seriously told me his name was Jim Carter. I told them that "I contacted the FBI, this is a scam and do not call me again". I had to yell it a couple of times, but finally they stopped calling me.

    Good luck!

  • call your d.a. and tell them of this. that way if it is legit, which i doubt, the d.a. will already have on file that you tried to pay these people. plus, if its a scam, they can tell you what steps to take to protect yourself.
