  • my dd was born @ 8 lbs 3 ounces and now at 2 months is exactly 10lbs...just a little concerned thats why i thought id ask the mommies on here

  • my son gained 3lbs 9 oz. Granted he was only 5lbs 1oz when born

  • DD was born 7 lb 9 oz and at two months weighed 14 lb. So she gained 6 1/2 pounds about. I would refer to the WHO weight charts , unless she's formula fed then you can use the common ones. Some babies grow faster then others. that does seem kinda low. however, you have to remember that those were probably two different scales used, so it might make a difference.

  • shes breast fed and eats about every hour during the day. her dr didnt say anything at all. i switched her to a new dr the next day cause she screams before peeing then is fine once she starts and the old dr she saw on monday has done nothing about it. anyways the new dr didnt say anything yesturday either...her lenght is 23"

  • 10 pounds at two months? In my book, perfect. Pound a month. Which is what mine gained.

    If breastfed, look for only a pound to a pound and a half a month. You really don't want them to gain too quickly...the idea is to be able to carry them!

  • Maybe a pound...she gained weight very slowly. It has nothing to do with breastmilk or formula- My daughter is/was formula fed and she is only 18 pounds at 1 year old.
