how much to eat?

my son is 5wks old and currently hes eating 4oz every 2-2 1/2 hours. Hes been acting hungry like a hour n half after he eats. i want him to go longer esp if hes eating more oz. so, should i move him to 5oz now n ne suggestions on how to make him go longer wo eating?
i found this food chart online ive been tryin to go by. for 3wks-2mos it says he should get 4-6oz every 3-4hours total amount for day 21-24oz

  • i would go ahead and give 5 ounces a shot and see if that keeps him happy. my daughter was about that age when she started wanting more than 4 ounces at each feeding, but if hes hungry so quickly right after a bottle than he probably isn't getting enough.

  • 5 oz isnt too much as long as its formula. and follow his cues. theres no guarantee he will go longer btw. feeds either lol so just follow his hunger cues,.
