  • Not this country, that's for sure! And that goes for the republicans too! The Bush administration ran us waaaaaay off into the ditch. How about we just give Obama half a chance to see what he can do about towing us out before we start throwing stones? The man inherited a WORLD of trouble and he hasn't even had 6 full months to accomplish anything yet. Give it a rest! If the republicans actually had any better ideas, why couldn't they be specific about a plan?

  • A perfect example of how the government runs things--American Public Schools. Some of them are superb, turning out fairly well-educated young adults. Others are money pits into which have been poured millions of dollars and the graduating students can't read or write fluently in any language, or speak proper English. I don't want the government to be put in charge of anything else. In fact, I think many things it is in charge of would be better off in private hands.

  • Private owned businesses should stay just that. Government should have limited say in how companies big or small are run; they shouldn't really have their hands in everyday decisions that impact your business.

Ah....okay, and right now they would all be OUT OF BUSINESS! Is that really a better alternative?!

  • Obama is constantly blowing hot air out his blow hole. He doesn't have a clue wth he's doing and if he isn't stopped he's going to run this country into the ground even further. People are finally starting to wise up and realize what a huge mistake it was to elect him. I loved the coup that took place in NY...we need more of that! It's not too late, we can take this country back from the left wing liberals. We just need to stand strong and united!

YES, they should be out of business! I own a small business and if it fails it is my fault. I wouldn't expect to be bailed out. It is my responsiblity.

You people do realize that all of these businesses that have been taken over by the government have been in reality STOLEN from their rightful owners.

What if the government decided they didn't like the way you keep your house, they could keep it cleaner, so they show you the door and move in someone new. What if it were your kids, maybe you just aren't smart enough, so they get your kids a new set of parents. It is the same principle!
