Military moving to Japan with newborn?

So the military is doing a run around. She will be 6 weeks when we are suposed to fly out. She will have all her shots at 8 weeks. Can she get her medical screening and passport before she gets all her shots and still go? the navy isnt helping at all!!!!!

  • No she has to have all her shots before she gets her passport, I couldnt take my son to Italy until he was 10 weeks because of this

  • you should also be able to go to your local fleet and family support they can give you the info you will need to know on this. the actual people he works with won't be much help if they don't know anything but fleet and family support can point you in the right direction. just call the base directory ask for fleet and family support and they can tell you where they are located and may be able to help you over the phone.
