Advice for travel with kids to Seattle and Vancouver?

We plan on going to Seattle and Vancouver area in August with our 3 and 7 yo. What are good places to go? We want to do something like camping where we can enjoy nature but since we are flying in, we can't bring camping equipment. We do plan on renting a car.

  • The Seattle Science Center is fun for kids, they have an Imax theater and rides there too, butterfly museum. There's a Hands On Museum downtown too.

  • Oh yeah, the Seattle Aquarium is downtown too. The Woodland Park Zoo is downtown as well. There's a bug museum too if your boys are into that kind of thing.

Look at that calendar. It has events going on for the month for kids, how much it costs, where it's at, etc.
