  • wow, I don't know what to tell you, my son is 2 years old and I have never been away from him except for a few hours. My MIL wanted to have him spend the night at her house and I couldn't do that!! Good luck!!

  • I could never do it... :( That is so young, I could see maybe a weekend, but a MONTH! No way for me.

  • Why would you even agree to that? You seem a bit selfish to me. "YIPPY SLEEP TIME". Give me a break, I would never let anybody take my baby for any amount of time. The longest my 18 month old has been away from me is like 10 hours.
If you are smart and reconsidering, then tell them you changed your mind and he can't go.

  • Just tell them you changed your mind and be firm.

  • I agree with the others. I could NEVER let someone take my son away from me for long of a time. There is so much growing that takes place in a month that I feel I wouldn't even recognize him when he got back. I don't really know what to tell you. I personally would have never agreed to this in the first place but if you are having second thoughts, you can always reconsider.

  • Are they the ones raising him? I see that you are a teen mom.

Answer by Anonymous at 7:00 PM on Jun. 11, 2009

  • Can you go, too?
