  • oh lord, my daughter is 3 and I hope she takes naps until kindergarten. I don't sleep well at night and getting to lay down with her is a huge blessing for me, so I encourage it. If you're trying to break the habit, I think its fine as long as the child is getting enough sleep at night and it fits your schedule, but a nap never hurt anyone so if you want to keep going, milk it as long as you can! lol

  • My daughter was 18 months or so when she stopped napping. If I put her down for a nap, she would stay up later and/or not sleep through the night because she just wasn't tired.

I think it just depends on the child and their daily routine.
