Does Monster.com allow scammers to get your info?

I received a monster.com email that said someone was interested in offering me a job and that I needed to reply "I am interested". Well, I did and they wrote me back and said they were from a electronic sales company called SABMiller Holdings Ltd. and that they are based out of London. Thier company started in 1991. However I can not find anything about them online.

  • SABmiller is a drink company. I'd contact monster.com personally, they should have customer service somewhere there. That does suck though because I use them too. Definitely a scam though, dont send anymore info!
    Good luck,

  • Yes. Sadly the answer is yes! Report the company and Monster will remove.

  • I am not sure if "allow" is the correct word. Anyone can pay Monster for access to resumes.
