  • my boy and girl had the same heart rate ,so i'd have to say no.

  • I'd have to say no. I just had a girl 2 wks ago, and she always had the heartbeat of a boy.:)

  • i agree with momnbabygirl. my dd was 140-150 and my first ds was 155-160, this time its a boy and hes 145-155 so i think not!!!

  • It worked for me but of course so did the needle and thread trick too.
    When I asked the doc about the heartbeat thing she said it wasn't true.

  • i say no because i'm having a boy and his heartrate is higher (according to the tale, he should be around 140 and he's always around 168)

  • My husband thought that it did so I asked my doctor about it and she said no it doesn't. I am having a girl and her heartrate is around 140 or so. The doctor said it can take a few weeks for the heartbeat to become somewhat regular.
