  • Does your baby get rashes if you don't use special soap?

Most babies do not need Dreft or other special soaps. Even most that do have any issues do fine with dye and perfume free detergents.

Other than that, I don't know if there is a special HE Dreft type detergent available yet.

  • There are lots of very safe (safer than conventional baby detergents) laundry agents! Country Save is excellent! No additives, no enzymes (which can be an allergen). I also really like Biokleen.

  • All makes a free and clear (all small and mighty HE it's in a white bottle). I've used that for baby clothes. Tide also does okay and my boys have serious skin issues. I now just make my own so I know exactly what is going next to my babies skin.

  • I always used All Free&Clear HE. We had no problems with it.

  • I was just going to give the same answer is the poster above me. I love ALL Free & Clear (hubby has very sensitive skin) and they do make an HE version of it. It's basically the same thing as "baby" detergent anyway--no dyes or perfumes--and it does cost a lot less than Dreft.
