  • I give my two year old son left overs from the previous night's dinner and....
Almond butter sandwich on whole wheat bread.
Gerber's Chicken Noodle Soup (Stage 3) with crackers
Tyson's chicken nuggets and mixed veggies
    Tortillas with hummus
Scrambled egg with spinach and cheddar cheese
    Rice and Beans
    Mac n Cheese with peas

  • My son loves anything he can shovel in his mouth himself. I quarter cheese cubes, give him rinsed cannellini (white kidney) beans, rinsed black beans, chopped steamed veggies, hot dogs nuked and cut up into slices, then quarter each slice, pieces of pasta, chunks of bread..

    For a little more effort:

take a slice of bread and roll it flat and spread a THIN smear of peanut butter or cream cheese or pimiento cheese or hummus or whatever spread you like on half of it. Fold it over, press and cut into tiny cubes.

I also like to do quesidillas. Just melt cheese between two tortillas in a small pan and cut into tiny pieces.

  • Stay away from processed foods.
whole grain toast with mashed avocado or sunflower butter
a hard boiled egg mashed with hummus
a whole grain tortilla with beans and cheese
    cooked beans
    tofu cubes
    baked sweet potato
    whole grain noodles
Really, whatever you are eating (hopefully you eat a well-rounded healthy diet)
