  • PIZZA CRUST:

    1 1/3 c water

    2 tsp. sugar

    1 1/4 tsp. salt

    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

    3 c. flour

    1 tsp. baking powder

    1/4 tsp. garlic powder

    1/4 tsp. onion powder

1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast

Mix in a large bowl the water, sugar, salt & oil. Add baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder & yeast & mix well. Stir in flour 1 cup at a time. Knead dough 6 - 8 minutes adding only a bit extra flour to keep from being too sticky.   Let rise until 1 1/2 times its beginning size. Spread dough on 2 greased pizza pans, bake at 400 degrees for 4 minutes. Remove from oven, brush with vegetable oil. Add toppings, bake another 12 to 14 minutes.

  • I love the little boxes of Jiffy pizza dough, the ones in the lil blue box. $.48 at walmart each. Two of them make a great big pizza. I buy the Boboli sauce and put on whatever toppings we like. Easy and cheap.
