As a pp said, the hard spots are probably the baby's head, butt or feet. And this will continue for the rest of your pregnancy. The baby is running out of room, so he/she will stop kicking and instead push with feet and head in that cramped little space.
If at some point it seems your entire belly is hard, then that would probably be braxton hicks. They aren't really painful, but very uncomfortable. It is like having a watermelon for a belly. You can't really bend around it.
You just have to remember that it is only another 12 weeks. Which I know seems like a lifetime right now, but it really isn't that long.
