when i stand of have a contraction im experenceing an unbelieveable amount of prssure in my pelvis area, is that normal?

im 38 weeks, new to the labor thing, so im kinda in the dark, but im fine when its time to take care of the child... but i dont know if i should be panicing at this point or not.... this is my first child

  • call the doctor or go to the ER they will tell you if your in labor of if you need to come in

  • You don't need to go right in if you are in labor. They will put you on a clock so they can hurry and get you out of there and another mom in. I can barely understand your question. Are you having contractions when you stand? Go for a walk and see if they pick up? Pressure in the pelvis can be the baby has "dropped".

  • Ok, are you the one that thought her water broke yesterday? If so, you really need to go to the hospital right away. Most of the time, they want to make sure the baby is delivered within 24 hours of your water breaking. You don't always go into labor just because your water breaks. GO TO THE HOSPITAL!
