How much baby food should I give my 7 month old son a day?

Just so that he gets used to eating. I don't want to over feed him.

  • Feed him as much as he wants. He'll let you know when he doesn't want anymore.

  • If you are just starting food, then just a jar a day. If you have been doing it for a while then as much as he wants as long as he is still taking all his formula or breast milk.

  • I'll be honest, I fed my son baby food first, and when he was done he let me know. Children WILL NOT overeat if you don't let them. Turning their head, spitting food back out, etc. Offer the baby food first, then his bottle. If you offer the bottle first, he may not be interested in the real food.
