I always thought the term Stay at Home Mom did not fit, I was never home- I was always at the park, the pool, library, doctors... A friend came up with "Moms that don't work outside the home" Haha- if you ever saw me at the grocery with my kids running all over trying to balance the food budget you would know I was "working outside the home".. so anyone have a good way to describe Mom's who do not get paid.... BTW- I have been working for pay for 10 years now and still can no come up with a good name to describe the 4 years I did not.... maybe I have always just been a Mom! But, just for fun- what term can you come up with??

  • On any applications where it asks my job title, I always put "Domestic Engineer" or "Domestic Quality Control Specialist" . People always says "Wow that must be interesting work!" and I just smile and nod :)
