How to best establish sleeping during the night, at 11 months, after sleeping with me for the past few months?

  • I would start with naps...my DD is 10 months and still sleeps with us =)

  • My daughter slept with us for the first 9 weeks, but I broke that habit really quick. Like above I started out with naps & gradually went to her sleeping alone at night. I had to let her cry it out for a few nights in a row, but she eventually learned to soothe herself to sleep. I also play nature sounds in her room at night to help her out. She is 4 months now and has no problem sleeping through the night alone :]
