If Christianity is supposed to be so loving, why does it exclude people who aren't part of the religion?

Christians call each other sister & brother. That sounds more like a cult than a religion.

  • Jesus called us family, God is our Father, so we speak of each other as siblings. (Matthew 12:50, Gal. 4:6 for starters)

  • This one girl my mother gave birth to and my dad she also calls dad I call her sister. OMG would that be like a cult in the family or so?

WE are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of the Lord. Even the ones that ask rude questions and do not believe in the Lord.

  • Ok these question are three separate ones. Love is one thing and exclude is another. We are called to love our neighbor and we understand this to be everyone. Love the sinner BUT hate the sin!! (For example if your child would disobey you you would punish him but you never stop loving him. Then he might choose to continue in disobedience and distance himself from you. You will still be there waiting for him to repent and reestablish his relationship with you by spending time with you ) As far as excluding that choice you make by not accepting Jesus Christ as your savior. Lastly We are brothers and sisters because we have the same Father "Jehovah" That's the answer to that question.

  • They don't exclude you as long as you abandon your ways for thiers...and you read the same version of the Bible....and are baptised in the same denomination.

  • You are not excluded, you are just lost. You ARE my sister in Christ but you are choosing to reject Jesus. Truth through love baby.
