If you were made in His image and He is full of Grace and works, why do you believe you are only need His Grace and not have to work to obtain it?
God works day and night to sustain us, to provide for us and to dispose every affair big and small. What makes you believe you don't have to work towards pleasing him and entering into paradise?

First of all the made is God's image refers to the fact that we are eternal beings capable of fellowship with the divine.Â
As far as working to please Him. The best way to describe or explain this is this, God is perfect right. Since He is perfect His holiness is perfect as is His love.  Because He is holy He can't just ignore sin. Holiness and evil can not coexist. But because His love is also perfect He made a way for us to be forgiven. Jesus death on the cross. Because God's love is perfect we can do nothing to add to it nor take away from it. We must only accept it.   Our good works come from gratitude for His love and from His love being lived out in us.Â
