First Birthday....

My daughters first birthday party is alittle more then a week away. We are having it outside at a playground in a pavillion...there is a grill and I am trying to figure out what food to get. We are having around 40 people and I am trying to do something that is alittle cheaper since there are so many people! Any ideas????

  • you can get burgers and hotdogs cheep around this time of year. And make some beans in a crock pot because they stay warm that way. If you want to do chips then there are those little packs of them that you can get but those can get more pricey. As far as drinks i would just get some pitchers because its outside and make tea lemonade and kool aid oh and water. These will keep people cooler when its getting hot. Other than that i have no idea good luck!

  • hot dogs are always great. some good fixins cheese onions relish. etc... i love the big jumbo packs of jenny o turkey dogs from walmart. good dog taste without getting too greasy. maybe a really good salad. chips and dip are good too.

  • We are doing almost the EXACT same thing with the number of people and everything...we will probably do burgers or chili dogs and ask every one to bring a side salad. We will bring chips/bottled water/cheap pop/ and have a punch bowl.
