What time do your kids get up this summer

Mine would sleep all day if I let him. What are your rules re: sleeping?

  • Mine wake up on their own by 8 at the latest. If they wanted to sleep later, I'd let them go til 9, but no later because it makes adjusting back to the school schedule too difficult. We've had them sort of on a school schedule since birth. It really has made things easier.

  • I usually wake up at around 8 or 9 depending on what time I go to bed. If I go to bed at 4, and I usually sleep 7-9 hours...do the math

  • This week 6 AM; she has to be at school at 8 for freshman orientation.
    Next week she can do whatever she wants
    The following four weeks she will get up around 7:30; she is volunteering at a day camp
    The next four weeks she will be at overnight camp; they get up at 8 most days, 9 on Shabbat.
    Then one week to recover from camp; one week to get back on school schedule; then 5:45 (so much better that the 5:15 we dealt with the last two years) for school

  • I have three children two teen and one 9 yr old they all wake up at different times now that thier in summer vacation but my 15 yr old girl goes to summer school so its 7 am for her but she could sleep till noon if i let her lol My 9 yr old boy wakes up around 8 am and my 13 yr old boy wakes up pretty much at the same time all yr round 6 am, i sure would have liked them to sleep in just a bit more so this way i can get more sleep myslef but like the saying goes a Mothers work is never done sunrise to sunset sheesh maybe i should pick their little brains and reset their wake up time clocks !! lol
