do you know how many text messages your kids send?

my boys who are 14 and 17 send over 7k text messages every month. i just noticed that on our last bill. holy cow is that a lot. my husband and i send about 400+ texts. good thing we have the unlimited text messaging.

  • We have unlimited texting and at this point, he sends about 100 a month. He just started texting and only texts a few people. He is almost 13 and once he discovers girls, I am sure it will be more.

  • my kids arent old enough to text but im sure im in the 1k + a month, we get unlimited texts and so do my friends and its just easier

  • my kids are 8 and 10 and they both have cell phones and they send about 10 a month each and thats to me and my husband.

  • My teenager doesn't have a cell. When he gets a job, he can have a cell. I did this with my older sons. They were shocked at how much the first bill was. They had to pay it or have their phone turned off. That was the one and only time I know of they had large bills. I don't think teenagers need cell phones. If he goes out, he uses mine. If he sends texts, he doesn't get to use it again.
