Are we losing our Right to Bear Arms?

Congress is now starting on the firearms confiscation bill. If it
passes, gun owners will become criminals if you don't fully comply.
It has started. Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House.

Even most gun shop owners didn't know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar.

What do you think??? Is this a sly approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip
away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished, before anyone realizes it?

  • In addition to these rules, we are paying taxes and fees along every step of the way!!! More money to Uncle Sam for something we already have rights to!!!!

  • That is exactly what it was. They toned it down when Al Gore lost in 2000. They credit the anti gun stance as the thing that cost them the election. And I don't just say that out of thin air. I have heard them say it many times.

  • NO. They had better insist on compliance and make sure that guns are not purchased by nut cases. People who are in a panic about "Gun ownership" are usually the paranoid ones who need counseling. Buying guns in large quantities is a bad sign. Hunting ---fine. But stockpiling guns and ammo spells trouble and a need for strict standards. More power to whomever makes it difficult to buy guns.

  • Wow, some of you take your Constitutional rights so lightly. Hhmm, I wonder how you will feel when they take away your right to FREE SPEECH.

This is a very sneaky piece of legislation that I posted a question about some time ago. Criminals don't give a rats a$$ about gun regulation. ANY and ALL gun regulation only serves to hurt the legitimate gun owner.

Now if some of you will bother to read the Constitution.

Here is an excellent article.  http://www.constitution.org/leglrkba.htm

The Founding Fathers intended for "we the people" to be able to raise our own militia to overthrow a tyrannical government if the need arose.

  • I do not think we will lose our right to bear arms. It is just going to be more difficult to do so. Our right to bear arms was given to us long ago by our forefathers as a means of protection for ourselves and our country. The problem is not the gun owner that lives by a set of morals and values. The problem is the person that has a need to commit crimes with a weapon. These are the laws that should be made tougher. The law should protect us and our rights. Not the right of the criminal. A murderer, rapist, pedophile should go to the front of the fastest line and kiss their butt goodbye. The heck with all the appeals and and the victims should be justly served. Make the life of crime less of a free ride and maybe we will see some changes in our screwed up society.
