What is an easy way to pour cake mix into cup-cake cups? Without making a mess?

  • pour it in a zip lock bag, cut a small hole in the corner, and squeeze it out in the cups

  • I always just use a spoon and spoon it it a bit at a time. Or if you have one, try a icing bag, like the cake decorators use.

  • I've tried an ice cream scoop (the kind that has the latch that will hold it in there until you release it into the cups) and it worked pretty well.

  • lol, my girls and I are experimenting with different designs. We are learning how to make the pull apart cup-cakes. A few days ago we made a butterfly, it was super cute. We are going to try and ice-cream cone today. I like the ideas. Thank you.

  • I pour it (bowl has a spout) into a 4-cup measuring cup and use the cup to fill the cupcakes.

  • I just use two spoond and dont make a mess, but the ziploc bag idea from armywife43 was a good idea, same with the ice cream scoop

  • I use a 1/2 cup dry measuring cup with a spout.
