  • Children born to parents with fertility problems do have an increased risk of having fertility problems, but how much their risk level increases depends on which parent had a problem and what type of problem they had. If you know the specific cause(s) of his parent's troubles, then you can research them to see what the likelihood is that your husband will have inherrited a problem from them. In many cases, the children do not have fertility problems, but the more you know about his parent's problems the more helpful it might be in the event that you do have trouble getting pregnant.
