Starting a business - want to incorporate

Can you do-it-yourself? I was told that you can incorporate through any state...is this true? I was also told that one of them has no state tax and only federal. Thanks.

  • Yes you can do it yourself but I would definately suggest speaking with someone at your local small business administration. Delaware and Nevada are popular states to incorporate in. You will need to have a physical address in these places. Congrats!!

  • You can do this yourself. You will be required to file articles of incorporation, etc.
If you have not yet written your business plan, I strongly recommend www.score.org
If your business plan is in place, then contact www.sba.gov
