when do babys start teething?

my DD is 5 months and bites on everything, She crys if she gets nothing to bite!

  • Then she is teething. Give her a clean, cool wet washrag to chew on, she will be a happy camper. When it gets painful or at night, you may want to give her "Teething Tablets" that is the name of them and you find them in the pharmacy section of Walmart

  • 4 to 6 months is the usual age. try a wetting a washrag and putting it in the freezer for a little while then give it to her to chew on. It should numb her gums for a while and you can use baby orajel. now is the time to buy a toothbrush...they love to brush their gums when they hurt.
