  • have someone make a fishtank cake do the water theme and make water balloons since its hot and then get some cheap water guns at the dollar store or a cheap store around your area wally world i know has a dollar isle you can check out to see what all they have, maybe get a slip n slide they have a shorter cheap one for the smaller kids all this stuff you can also use through out summer as well..... so its not just for one day..... you can keep it for them to play with all summer long, maybe get one of those cheap 29.99 smaller pools for everyone to dip into maybe some of these ideas will help ya out some, all or a few of them atleast..... i hope!!!

  • What about...
a caterpillar - butterfly theme? Caterpillar things for your son and girly butterflys for your daughter?
    101 Dalmations
    Lilo and Stitch
    Wizard of Oz theme

They have a ton of ideas on this site

  • a circus.

there are boy things in the circus and there're lots of girly things.
the strong man, clowns, juggling etc.
and the pretty girls riding the horse, or doing the trapeze stuff.
