  • finger painting, you can do a shirt, if you have a kids' picnic table, get the dollar store shaving cream (not the gel) and let him play with it. get construction paper, pipe cleaners, dip the pipe cleaners in paint, fold the construction paper in half, with the pipe cleaner inside, slide it out while it's still folded, open and there is a design, you can do this with the same paper, with different colors. use a paper plate and cut out holes for eyes, you can make a mask. have him color it the color the animal of your choosing is. get little matchbox cars, some paint, and let him dip the bottom of the car in the paint and make "tire painting" on construction paper. play dough is always fun, just make sure he doesn't eat it. fathers day is coming, have him make a card. you write happy fathers day, he draws inside. if i think of more i'll let you know.

  • you can also start teaching him his letters and numbers, get construction paper, write a big letter or number (or his name if you want) and tell him what letter it is. trace it with glue, and let him glue cheerios on it.

  • oh yeah, if you do this inside, i recommend you get a table cloth from the dollar store, and put it under where you're doing the craft, so not to mess up your floors.

  • i dont have to keep him inside but sometimes theres not much to do outside, im outside everyday with my son for whatever reason and sometimes i feel like i shouldnt have too... i should show my son that being home can be just as fun as being outside...
