what is a nice amount of money to put in a graduation card for a friends child?

  • Most people gave my children $40 or $50...but it should be whatever you can afford.

  • I would say $40-$50. Or you can get a gift card for that amount.

  • My son just graduated in May and our friends gave him $25-$50, some more some less, depending on their financial situation.

  • I'd say $20 or more. Depends on how close you are to them. They'll get plenty of cash, so don't give anything you can't afford.

  • Gift cards became my best friend...it helped me buget...i lived on my walamart girftcards my first semester at school...family gave me money...some of them...but yea whatever you can afford will be apreciated!! no need to break yourself over a gift

  • I would say if you're close to the friend $40-$50 but if you're not $25 would be good. Don't break your bank though!

  • It depends on what you can afford. Anywhere from $20 on up. The idea of a gift card is a great idea. That way if the college student runs out of shampoo, soap, etc they have gift cards to use. They can even by snacks. Walmart and Target gift cards are a great idea.
