Would you let your six year old watch rated R movies and play games to old for them?

My husband lets my stepson do anything and everything he wants. Right now they are watching a rated R movie. My husband says evan can because my husband did it when he was little so it's fine for evan. I disagree I don't think a six year old needs to watch those kinds of movies are play video games above their level. thanks

  • NO WAY! I am pretty protective over what my kids watch on tv and the games they play. Its pretty much all NOGGIN over here. A little bit of sponge bob, but he's not my favorite ;)

  • Well if you are thinking of having a child with him..You already know this will be am issue..Wont you??

I am with your DH on this..My two grow DD watched R rated movies all the time when they were young. And they grew up to be law abiding citizens.

  • i'm sorry louise but watching R rated movies has nothing to do with how a child will grow up, i think she's against it b/c it can scare the shit out of him and it's rated R for a reason, not for a 6 y/o child to be watching
