  • You can have your profile mention what you do and a link, you can reply to others questions here in this catagory about working at home (and trust me, you see dozens of ladies asking the SAME question over and over "I need a legit work at home job") You can even join several of the DOZENS of groups geared towards working at home.

BUT....most of those on those groups are simply other ladies advertising, you rarely get a reply. And well when you reply on this particuliar answer catagory over and over again it gets stale. I do Ambit Energy and got a few people who would ask more about it but NO one joined as a seller or buyer.

You don't mention what you do, is your small business as in you joined a direct selling company such as Tupperware or Avon? Or do you make a product yourself and sell it/them? Or offer a service? If you are with a direct selling company your best bet is to advertise locally.....

  • using flyers, business cards, catalogs or postcards (biz cards and post cards are free at vistaprint) And getting them out to homes in the area as well as bulletin boards, beauty salons, laundrymats, libraries, dr office waiting rooms, etc. etc. The same can work if you offer a service locally as well as a product you make.

If you make a product, for example, cloth diapers in stylish designs, it's something Moms here on cafemom and many other message groups sites could want to purchase. You can advertise by replying to messages and making a website. Getting a myspace page for the business and linking it in your signatures on groups works well too and is allowable. But posting specific ads on these groups here is not allowed (unless the group is designed for ads)! Craigslist, ebay, Buy & Sell Yahoo groups, craft shows, flea markets are all places you can get products out there!

    Good Luck!

  • There are groups that allow advertising. Or you can buy an ad, the way that McDonald's, andothers, do. You can mention your business in a post, if it is relevant to the conversation.

  • Feel free to put an ad in my group its called freeformoms :) Vistaprint is the best place on Earth. Just a tip for them if you select 21 day shipping right now they are sending it in about a week and a half anyway!
