  • Some people with mental illnesses turn to the bible and to Jesus. They claim that they have seen him and have spoken with him just to end up in a mental institution. Jesus probably thinks this is great considering they have sacrificed their whole life to the bible and were willing to get locked up for him.

I personally think this Jesus stuff is all crazy. Jesus can't take away pain. Only you can find happiness within.

  • Psalm 46:1-3 “God is our refuge
and strength, a very present help in
trouble. Therefore we will not fear,
    though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the
heart of the sea; though its waters
    roar and foam, though the
    mountains tremble with its tumult.”
Psalm 57:1 “Be merciful to me, O
God, be merciful to me, for in you
my soul takes refuge; in the shadow
of your wings I will take refuge, until
    the destroying storms pass by.”

    Protection

  • Psalm 139: 7-12 “Where can I go
from your spirit? Or where can I
flee from your presence? If I ascent
to heaven, you are there; if I make
my bed in Sheol, you are there. If I
take the wings of the morning and
settle at the farthest limits of the
sea, even there your hand shall lead
me, and your right hand shall hold
me fast. If I say, ‘Surely the
darkness shall cover me, and the
light around me become night,’ even
the darkness is not dark to you; the
night is as bright as the day, for
darkness is as light to you.”

  • Jeremiah 29:11 “For surely I know
the plans I have for you, says the
Lord, plans for your welfare and not
for harm, to give you a future with
    hope.”
    Isaiah 40:28-31 “Have you not
known? Have you not heard? The
Lord is the everlasting God, the
creator of the ends of the earth. He
does not faint or grow weary; his
    understanding is unsearchable. He
gives power to the faint, and
    strengthens the powerless. Even
youths will faint and be weary, and
the young will fall exhausted; but
those who wait for the Lord shall
    renew their strength, they shall
mount up with wings of eagles, they
shall run and not be weary, they
    shall walk and not faint.

  • Isaiah 41:10 “…do not fear, for I
am with you, do not be afraid, for I
am your God; I will strengthen you,
I will help you, I will uphold you with
    my victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 43: 1-2 “Thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob, he
who formed you, O Israel: Do not
fear, for I have redeemed you; I
have called you by name, you are
mine. When you pass through the
waters, I will be with you; and
through the rivers, they shall not
    overwhelm you; when you walk
through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume
    you.”

all you that are weary and are
carrying heavy burdens and I will
give you rest. Take my yoke upon
you, and learn from me; for I am
gentle and humble in heart, and you
will find rest for your souls. For my
yoke is easy, and my burden is
    light.”
Luke 6:20-22 “Blessed are you who
