How many religions have you truly educated yourself on?

I have read parts of the bible and have attended church. I've had personal lessons as well. I've also self learned a lot about Paganism (of course, i am pagan. lol). i know a little bit about the islamic faith. a bit about Hindhuism, Sikhism and some about Buddhism. I'm currently tryting to expan my knowledge on Buddhism.

Even if you have found the faith that is right for you, do you still attempt to learn and understand other faiths?

Note: sorry if i spelt anything wrong. ...i am not very good at spelling.

  • I am studying more but I will never know enough about any of them. No one will. It is good to question and to research.

  • Oh, yeah, before I was a Christian I was involved in other faiths. I also love to study about other faiths.

I believe that there can only be one truth though.

  • I know a good bit about Buddhism (which I practice), Christianity, and Hinduism (dh's family is HIndu.) I also studied Wicca in high school. I find religion really interesting and will hopefully go on learning for a long time to come!

  • I know about Paganism but I will never know all of it. Of course I want to learn more about other religions. Everyone should do their best to learn about other religions as well as their own.

  • Of course you should still learn even if you do have your faith. Learning helps us to identify with other people. It brings us understanding and hopefully tolorance of other faiths/beliefs.

I've learned a lot about Christianity, Buddhism, Native American Shamanism, Wicca (I'm Wiccan) , I know a little about Islam and Jewish faith.

  • I was born and raised a mormon so Im very familiar with that religion. Im also familiar with JW's, catholics, and regular non-denom christians, and Pentecostals.

I know some about Muslims, Buddhism, and Hinduism(which Im strengthening my knowledge of right now).

Im comfortable with my spirituality in general but am learning more. I dont feel the urge to learn in depth about some religions and others, that interest me, I am learning about or read up on occasionally, etc. If I learn something new about another faith Im cool with that but I dont necessarily go seeking it all the time either.
