my dd is 11 1/2 months, how do i do the transition to milk? im new at this-

  • i would start by adding it into her bottle, 2 oz at a time- up the mixture every 2 or 3 days and within the week she should be on full milk! Congrats on the money you'll be saving!

  • You don't need to. Dairy's pretty bad for kids and people in general. It's only plus is calcium which you can get from plenty of other foods.

  • Slow transition is best, like "emaree" said. Watch for things like constipation. If you suspect constipation you can give apple juice to see if it helps, works for my daughter.

  • I just started adding milk to dds bottle. 2oz milk and 6oz formula. then keep adding milk until no more formula.
