did your braxton hicks come along with menstrual like cramps?

Just have contractions (ive already been to Labor and delivery and they didnt seem concerned) but they also feel like im on my period, or about to start when my belly tightens up, and it gets reall intense. i have a follow up tomorrow, so i will ask my dr. just wondering if anyone else had this too?

  • I had Braxton Hicks bad but the menstrual style cramps came when I delivered. I'd keep an eye on it, contraction count and head back up there if it gets any worses.

  • My entire LABOR (including pushing) felt like a stronger than usual period. This pregnancy, I've gotten a few ...sensations .... that I'm guessing would be labeled BH's (didn't feel any first pregnancy) but again feel like period cramps.

The three most common places to feel contractions of any sort are in your lower belly, inner thighs, and back. Some women get all three. Some only get one. My opinion, abdominal contractions/cramps are probably the easiest of the three to deal with. If they get painful, a warm rice sock, heating pad, or a bath helps a lot.
