  • what kind of self employed work do you do? You could probably qualify for state help like food stamps! I know it seems like somethin you may not want to do but trust me it helps! I never thought i'd need foodstamps but now i use em and am sooo thankful to have them! It never hurts to look into it!

  • What type of work are you doing on your own? Try to find some odd jobs on They have all different things posted. It could be help with a resume or marraige proposal or cooking and elderly person dinner, etc. But they do have all different ideas. Also, print out a flyer for watching kids or doing yardwork or cleaning houses (Anything you can think of that you'd be willing to do) Post them everywhere! Make sure your contact information is visible and stop by laundrymats and grocery stores. Some gas stations have bulletin boards to. Do you go to church? Maybe there's a way you can get paid to help people at a church. Like, find an elderly or disabled person to bring groceries to. Maybe they'd even like to visit with you and your kids when you go to check on them. Old people love kids LOL. Just do your best. I hope that gave you some fresh ideas. Some local papers will let you do an ad for $10-$20
