i took 2 pregnancy tests last week and they came back positive....

but this morning i had light brownish blood come out but no cramping. is that normal in your 1st trimester?

  • rest asure that it is ! i too went thru that but i went thru that a 2 1/2 months along and the doctor said it 1 of 2 things! that 1. is that the brownish stuff is just the period that u would have had but now ur baby is by passing it because ur pregnant and 2. that sex can cause that or just even a little push on the plasenta because the palsenta is nothing be a big sponge that is full with blood and early in pregnancy he hasnt attached itself yet to the wall and that is normal to get that brownish blood that not to worry unless its bright red

  • Brown blood is old blood, red blood is fresh blood. Brown blood is really nothing to worry about. Several things can cause this: Blood from implantation that hadn't escaped through the vagina yet, your SO penis hitting your now full cervix thus rupturing some tinny blood vesels, or several other harmless things. To make yourself feel more comfortable bring it up with your midwife or physician.
