My daughter is 17, her boyfriend is 18.
They have been dating for over 2 years.
5 days ago they brokeup,
She tried calling him, he won't bother answering
her. I told her many times she is better
but won't let go of him. She loves him, to death
and I don't know what to do for her
because I am single myself. She hasn't been
normal, laughed, barely eaten, she is just too
sad to function. She talked to his mom today,
she said lately he has been out with his so called
boys. She needs to get over him but can't/won't.
She is insecure at night time and misses him
and thinks too much about him.
She got their pictures everywhere and still has
mad feelings for him.

  • Give it time. It was her first love. She will forget about him as soon as notices the next guy has a crush on her.

  • Breaking up is never easy but she has to deal with this herself. Just be there for her. When I broke up with my x I thought I'd die but I didn't. Each day the healing gets better and in time she'll be fine.
