How would you describe the color red to a blind person?

Id like to hear your answers. My phychology teacher asked us this. He gave us the answer...i NEVER thought of it!!
Crazy how much we take for granted.

  • omg people...a BLIND person. They dont know what pink looks like! And when they feel something hot, they dont automatically think oooh RED lol. They cant see the sun either. You guys are silly.

  • It would depend on when they became blind and if they were legally blind or completely blind. There is a difference.

  • I'd tell them that it is a color that evokes the feeling of passion, love, hate and anger. That it is a color used to describe danger and to give warning. That red is the color of opposites that are oddly the same.
