Why is it that I can scratch my whole left shoulder blade with my right arm but not the right shoulder blade with my left arm.

Is this a birth defect or something?

  • I can reach up high in the middle of my back with my left hand, but not with my right, which happens to be my predominant arm & hand.
    I don't get it either.

  • I dunno. I can lick my left foot but not my right foot when standing up. Do I have a defect? LOL

  • I tried it.... and I can't scratch my right shoulder blade with my left arm either! I'm even left handed and when I tried I almost broke (my shoulder about jumped out of socket if you wanted to know!).....LMAO ...... maybe I need to stretch that side a little more?

  • its not a birth defect! LOL Its called lack of flexibility!!! LOL I used to be able to do the splits all the way down with my right leg in front, and not with the left side... and Im perfectly normal! Well... for the most part! LOL

  • IDK probably not, if your right handed it could just mean that since you dont use your left as much its just not as flexible

  • I have never made it a point to notice left handed people but they always notice me! lol, my mom always gets mad when she sees me writing and makes a comment. I just tell her mom, I have been writing with my left hand for the past 37 years! ( I was three when I learned to write my name) get over it! haha
